The Burroughs Family

I got connected with the Burroughs family through my friend Irene.  They live across the street from each other, but get this. . . Jeff is from my very, very small hometown!  What a small world!  Up until now I've only photographed people that I know, so I was a little worried about the kids warming up to me.  Boy, was I wrong!  These kids were soooo sweet and silly and they acted like we were friends from the minute I walked in the door!  Then I talked with their parents and I found out why their kids were so nice!  What a lovely family!!

I did have some issues with the sun.  There wasn't a ton of shade for me to work in and I was having a hard time positioning them so they didn't get an eye full of light.  It was definitely a good learning experience for me.  And even with the sun in their faces. . .they're ADORABLE!
