The Sculpture Garden

The last session of our photography class was a the Sculpture Garden in Minneapolis.    I loved our instructor and look forward to taking more of his classes in the future.  He even offered to help me take some more senior photos of Kelly's daughter, Brenna. I'm so excited about that! And check out this lens he let me try out. . .

Holy crap, this lens cost more than my car!  I was so afraid of dropping it so I only took a couple of photos.  If I ever win the lottery. . .

And here are a random slew of the photos that I took on our last night.

We tried to do some funny poses around the cherry.  Our lovely model was such a good sport! :)

And here are a couple of shots of the cherry/spoon sculpture at night.  I got a billion when it was light out, but the ones we took after the sun went down are definitely my favorite.

  1. Every one turned out fantastic!!! I especially love the top spoon and cherry shot with the ball of light at the top of the cherry!! You have such an eye, Sarah!!!

Wasn't the 300mm f/2.8 L lens unbelievable!! I think my arms are still sore from holding it :)
