10 on 10: January

I absolutely adore lifestyle photography.  Less posed, more real.  Can you imagine having these type of photos of your grandparents when they were kids? Not just the smiley vacation shot, but a glimpse into what their everyday looked like?  This year I'm going to try and give you a glimpse into our life (the good, the bad and the ugly) on the 10th of each month.

I'll show you my messy house, my unfinished projects, my chaos, our ups and downs. . .  Will you show me yours?  Link up to the lovely Rebekah here.

ten on ten button

p.s.  I hope that this will hold me accountable to actually hang up pictures.  We moved in October and I'm running out of excuses.

  1. I love all of them! I get more every day pictures with my phone camera then with my big one... but I do love this style.

  4. Your laundry is so much more neat than mine. I have clothes... everywhere! And the rest of the house looks so warm and inviting. Mine is too ... sterile? I need some knick knacks. Your photography is SPOT ON. I adored all the kiddo shots.

    Great set!

  12. It is so much fun to follow your photographic journey, Sarah! We are lucky you do this. Your pictures always make me go "ooh." And I'm glad you found this monthly project because before this your family's life was just not documented photographically... (J / K :) DD
