Assignment #3 (BLUE)

A few more blue from me. . .

And I think Miles would be really upset if I didn't include his beloved, Blue.

Oh my, I got some amazing, inspiring and all around super-awesome photos from y'all this week.  I'll be posting them tomorrow and then we'll start a New Assignment for the week.  Are you sitting on the edge of your seats in suspense??  Actually, if you have any ideas, feel free to list them in the comments section here or email me.  I'd love to hear what you want to do in future weeks.  And if you haven't participated and want to, PLEASE DO!

My friend, Kelly, always posts these really cool quotes on her blog.  I especially love the one she posted this week. . .

"To me photography is an art of observation. It's about finding something interesting in an ordinary place... I've found it has little to do with the things you see and everything to do with the way you see them."  ~Elliot Erwitt

  1. I am amazed at all the detail you can see in Blue's fur!

  2. Oh Sarah, you brought tears to my eyes when I saw the quote :) I didn't know if people read them.

I think the shot of Blue is great! Did you have the lighting coming from the side? Also, the fence is super cool. The whole railroad shoot is one of my favorite collections.

An idea that might sound weird, doors. Shots of doors. Or action shots. Or keep going with the colors. Or signs.
