Baby J

I got to hang out with this adorable little guy on his 6 month birthday.  To celebrate we had to take lots of pictures and eat cupcakes.  He and his family are now back home in California and I miss them all, but I think I miss his cheeks the most.  And his feet.  I love baby feet.

Love you guys!

I Heart These Little People

One of my BFFs was visiting from California so we had a big ol' playdate with another friend and hung out for a little while yesterday.  My friend is an amazing photographer, but doesn't always get a chance to snap shots of her own beauties, so I tried to sneak a couple in for her.  And look at this little guy!  He was teething like crazy, but still so charming and full of smiles!

Gorgeous . . . and very near and dear to my heart!

Baby O!

I had a quick visit with my sweet friend, Jen, this afternoon.  She has an adorable 8-week-old baby named Owen, so I couldn't resist pulling out the camera and taking a few shots.  This little guy likes to move so I had a little trouble with focus.  Maybe my f-stop was too low?  Focus issues aside, how out-of-control cute is he???  I love him to pieces!!

The Vasileiadis Family (Part One)

(secrets for sister)

Three sweet, lovely and gorgeous little girls.  They were so much fun to photograph, even in 100 degree heat.  The pizza and beer were pretty lovely, too.  Much love and many thanks to their momma for letting me invade their home and hang this evening.  So. much. fun.  Stay tuned for more parts.  I'll be posting them tomorrow!

baby love.

Although this blog may end up being mostly photos of my children, it is still for ME. I love to take pictures, but have no technical skills as a photographer. I want to get better. This is a place for me to collect my favorites and hopefully see some progress. I have a bad habit of over editing. While I think some really cool things can be done with editing, I don't want to take away from the original photo, either. I'm going to try hard to work on that.

This photo is from a point and shoot of my daughter, Stella, who will be 2 years old in June. She was a bit jaundiced in this photo, but I love it. I miss that baby skin.
